Aquí un resumen de tendencias para Primera-Verano 2016 en zapatos y accesorios.

Here's a Spring-Summer16 trends roundup in shoes and accessories.

Esta temporada esta llena de sorpresa, ¿en qué sentido? pues vemos algunos accesorios que si bien fueron muy populares en su época, también han sido considerados "fashion faux pas" o elementos no aceptables en moda. 

This season is full of surprises, how is that? well we got some accessories and shoes that though they were somehow popular in their time, they were also much of a "fashion faux pas".

Cangureras / Fanny packs

Un clásico de los 80's y e inicios de 90's (y de allí al 2000 quienes seguían usándolas incondicionalmente por lo general fueron personas de la tercera edad, lo cual es entendible considerando que les permitía cargar cosas sin usar sus manos).
Yo tuve cangureras (color neon ¡obvio!) y unas bolsitas que vendían para ponerse en la muñeca, si como una especie de cangurera mini.

An 80's and beginning of the 90's classic - beyond those years, it was mainly seniors who would keep using them, I guess since they are very convenient while allowing them to carry items without holding it in their hands!
I did have fanny packs in my 80's childhood, and of course they were neon-colored! I also had one of those mini fanny packs that you wear on your wrist. 

Tourist Sandals

En este artículo anterior, ya les comentaba sobre esta tendecia, que vimos en la pasarelas de Custo Barcelona (en la esquina izquierda) y en la pasarela de Chanel pret-a-porter.  ¿Les gustan? ¿Las usarían?

Tacones Cuadrados /Squared  or stacked heels

Estos tacones son otro clásico de los 90's, lo que no sorprende ya que suelen ser cómodos, y los veremos sobre todo en zapatos abiertos, sandalias, zuecos, sandalias de franjas y más...

These heels were huge   nthe 90's, and I'm not even surprise since they tend to be comfortable, we will see these heels in open shoes (like the ones shown below), sandals, mules, strappy sandals and more...

El regreso de la Plata / Silver is back!

Recuerdan como a finales del los 90's y todavía  inicios del 2000, el color plateado se hacía presente en ropa, en la maquillaje (¿se acuerdan comom las chicas "cool" llevaban labial plateado? y las sombras plateadas que se llevaban por igual de día o de noche),también lo encontrabamos en zapatos y accesorios por igual. El dorado también se usó bastante, pero no al grado en que vimos el plateado, es casi como si el plateado fuera una representación de los cambiantes tiempos del Y2K tan centrados en la tecnología.
Remember how at the end of the 90's and still to some extent in the early 2000, the silver shade was everywhere! on clothes, on make up -do you guys remember how the "cool" girls use to wear silver lipstick and silver eye shadows no matter the time of the day- and we we could see it in shoes and accesories as well. Gold shades were used quite a lot too, but not as much as silver. It almost seemed as if it was a way to represent the changing times and technology-focused age of the Y2K.

Plataformas gruesas y tacones tipo wedge / Big wedges & platforms

Esta tendencia es una de las grandes tendencias en zapatos, no solo en su tamaño y apariencia física, sino que desde los 70's, han estado apareciendo intermitentemete (90's y 2010 en adelante) tanto en las pasarelas de diseñadores como en las tiendas de moda accesible.

The platform shoes trend is a big one, not only physically of course, but if you think about it, this trend has appeared in both runways and retail stores on and off since its creation in the 70's.

Sandalias tipo gladiador, zapatos de alberca y más.. / Gladiator sandals, pool shoes and more..

Las sandalias tipo gladiador son un clásico recurrente de la moda, y para este año la propuesta de Kenzo inclye un versión un tanto plástica de ellas, incomporando la suela de plástico y con esos relieves ortopédicos que se hicieran tan famosos en los 90's con las sandalias Adidas.
¿Y se acuerdan de los zapatos de playa, o zapatos de alberca que todos tuvimos en los noentas? pues kenzo promueve no solo su regreso sino también el combinarlos con falda y/o vestido ¿les gusta la idea?

The gladiator sandals are one of those fashion staples that comes back every once in a while, and for these year Kenzo includes a new and more plastic version of them, with plastic soles, and the insoles have orthopedic looking textures which became very famous on the 90's thanks to Adidas.
And how about the pool sandals -also from the 90s- that everyone seemed to have a pair for summer time and the holidays, do you remember them?  Well, Kenzo is not oly bringing them back for this season, but is also inviting us to wear them with skirts or dress. Love it or hate it?

Sandalias tipo pantuflas / Laced slippers

Otra tendencia que mencioné en un artículo anterior,  y como Balenciaga retoma esta tendencia que llegó a ser masiva en el dos mil. La combinación del momento, era (y es de nuevvo gracias a Balenciaga), llevar estas sandalias en combinación pantalones tipo cargo y  pantalones tipo harem.

This trend, which was also mentioned on this other post, was massive in the early 2000's , the look of the moment- and thanks to Balenciaga it may also be the case now- was to wear these sandals with cargo pant - yeap those are back too!- or harem pants.

Zapatos que se amarran en el tobillo / Shoes tied at the ankle

Este tipo de zapatos van muy bien con vestidos, faldas, y pantalones cortos, muy sexies y perfectos para lucir chamorro, como los que les comparto en el gráfico a continuación que son de la marca de sideñador Custo Barcelona.
Una variante de esta tendencia son los zapatos de la colección PV2016 de Prada, con zapatos de piso y otros con tacón pequeño o tipo "kitten", muy creativos y dignos de las antiguas aristocracias. Me encantaron los que se amarran con listón al tobillo, tan feminios y delicados.
These shoes go great with dresses, skirts and cropped pants, since they frame your legs making your calves, just like the ones shown below from Custo Barcelona.
A slight variation of this trend is brought to you by Prada's SS16 collection with its very creative and old royalty-worthy pointy-toed shoes, in flat version or in kitten heels. My favorites are those that tie around the ankle with a ribbon.

Tenis con falda, vestido y con todo / Sneakers... with skits, dresses and everything!

Esta es una de mis tendencias favoritas para esta Primavera-Verano 2016, no solo por cómoda pero creanme que soy super fan de cualquier alternativo de calzado que sea cómodo y que me proporcione algo de altura. Así mismo creo con la combinación de prendas correcta, esta tendencia de tenis con vestido y/o falda puede ser muy original y simpática. 
This is one of my very favorite trends for Spring-Summer16, not only because its comfy, but any shoe alternative that is comfortable but that still manages to provide some additional height is great for me. Also I believe that with the proper combinations of cloches using sneakers with either dresses or skirts can be very creative and charming.
